Design

Meet the thinnest iPad to date! Apple has created an impressively slim, lightweight device with a 5mm aluminium unibody and durable screen glass. The iPad Pro boasts a sleek, flat design, except for the small camera bump on the back.

 

Design and Build

The front of the iPad Pro features an 11-inch Ultra Retina Tandem OLED screen, a long-awaited switch to OLED technology. The bezels are not particularly slim but provide a comfortable grip without obstructing the screen. The ultrawide front camera and Face ID are centred above the screen on one of the long sides, allowing Face ID to function in any tablet orientation.

The back of the iPad Pro is minimalistic, featuring only a glossy Apple logo, a small camera housing for the 12MP rear shooter, and the LiDAR system. While it would be ideal for the camera housing to sit flush with the back, including LiDAR justifies the slight protrusion, as it’s an essential feature for some users.
